I have a pair of Wesco wheel replacement skis that came with my 170B when I bought it. The skis have the safety cables and tip up springs attached. Included were the attaching brackets for the fuselage. However, I can't locate any approved data regarding mounting procedures. Any ideas where I might get ANY info about these skis? Have any of you ever used this brand of ski before? The pedestals show that they were manufactured in 1951. Thanks.

AC43.13-2B Chapter 5 is approved data. Your skis are listed on the TCDS A-799 item 208 (j)(3). I'd try to find Wesco drawings 11 and 148 as listed there. Cessna Tech Support (316) 517-5800 might be able to help with those documents for a price. Another source might be the
Cessna 120-140 Association as these skis are also listed on their TCDS. If you are able to locate these documents please forward copies to the Association for our Mx. Library.

n2582d,
Many thanks for the help. I'll call Cessna and see what they say regarding drawings.
