:D I was parked on the ramp one day years ago somewhere in Georgia when a little boy and his dad walked past my airplane and I heard him ask his dad why that airplane has a wheel on it's hiney instead of on it's front like ours. His dad told him that a long time ago when that airplane was built they just didn't know any better... as they got in their Cherokee 140. So, the name just sort of came to me.

The electrical power shortage was due to loss of natural gas supply more than loss of wind turbines. In Texas, the largest power demands are in summer when air conditioning demands large power increases. The wind turbines are typically relied upon to make up for that increased demand (and were not available duiring the recent ice storm when reliance upon them was not normally planned.) It was the traditional source of power that went missing from power-generation-plants that is being blamed for the shortage....(Texas sells/ships a large portion of it’s nat’l gas to other states particularly northeast and when the storm increased demands from those customers, Texas experienced a short-fall) and that, coupled with the (possibly misdirected) plan to isolate from the rest of the nations power-grids is being blamed.

ERCOT* was an attempt by authorities/Texas politicians to circumvent Federal regulation of Texas’ power-grid. (Those who feared “big gov’t” didn’t want to be subject to Federal oversight of the electric-grid as the rest of the nation predominately experiences... so ERCOT was created to oversee a “Texas-Exclusive” system which was prohibited from selling or buying power from the other grids. During a shortage in 2011 Texas was trapped by it’s own creation and had to buy power from Mexico.)
ERCOT (curiously) has a CEO who lives in Michigan, and about a third of it’s managers live out-of-state as well. :|

*ERCOT stands for Electric Reliability Council of Texas.
