any updates on wing X approval?

Postby alaskan9974 » Mon Apr 05, 2021 9:06 pm

I remember reading a few years ago they were working on FAA approval for our birds. I am planning on doing VG's and sportsman on my wings. Have seen Wing X in the wild on different birds but I need to stay legal since its a set of 175 wings on a field approval.

They have the Canadian STC, you might be able to use that as the basis for 337 approval. It probably isn't worth the money for them to get it approved on 170s since their aren't as many of our birds around.

Looks like Wing X STOL finally got U.S. STC approval for wing extensions on the 170A and 170B. SA04657NY includes a 50 lb. increase in MTGW.
