Looking for accurate 3-views

Post by CapnWannabe »

G'day all..
I am looking for a source of accurate drawings of the Cessna 170B. There is not much to be found on the internet, but if anyone can point me to where I can find some, I'd greatly appreciate it.

Cheers!

‘ello, Cap’n!

Bruce Fenstermacher posted another Members’ works (Brian “Brain” Olsen) on that very subject in our Mx Library in both PDF and Scalable drawings. (One must be a full Member of the Assoc’n to access the Mx Library.). The one posted is a ‘54 or later B-model. (angular rear window)

Check your email for addt’l info.

An originality nut (mostly) for the right reasons. ;)

There’s a large 3-view drawing of a 1953 or1954 paint scheme somewhere in the maintenance section of these forums. It is very accurate as far as scale and proportion. I downloaded it and imported it into Windows Paint to remove the original scheme and transfer my daughter’s design to it. I then sent it to the painter, who had no problems transferring it to the airplane.
