This "speed" thing is not about your A model vs my B model. This about Joe's airplane. In fact, it's even more specific that that. It's about Joe's airplane when Joe is at the controls (but he hadn't figured that out until he just read this.)

George, I do not know about you, but I never leave the controls during a race - although, during our race I might lean out the door to look back to see if I can still see ya

Bob, George is not accurate on this - after I beat him, another A will be in position to race him, and then another after that. Eventually we will know if George can beat ANY A model
