Note:
This is our attempt at a Photo Album working within the limits or lack thereof of the software we use. I would think that the intent is for photos of our aircraft and the people that own and fly them. Software won't allow us to limit this thread to just photos and it could be a tiring task for the moderators to remove comments and I'm sure that won't happen unless it gets out of hand. Comments about pictures can be made at a new thread.

Please limit your posts to up to 5 pictures with comments about the picture. And by all means one of those pictures should be of the owner and maybe family so we can put a face(s) to the friends we have online.

Photo formats that are known to work are .jpeg though others might. Photos should be 2000 x 2000 pixels or less but they must have a file size less than 2.3MB. If your picture won't upload and it is a .jpeg, try making it a bit smaller till it does.

See http://www.cessna170.org/forums/viewtop ... f=5&t=7995 for more instructions how to put a photo in a post.

With all the discussion proposing a photo album on our website, here's a start. Post up to five of your favorites.

Here are some pictures of N1715D after completion of the restoration done between June 2006 and November 2009.

Good photo's! Now if I can find out how to change colors with my computer  A now deceased friend of mine told me one time years ago that every airplane should have some red on it somewhere.

Yup, Red's nice!

It might be red, but I don't think "fast" has any business in it's description. Maybe the red just makes it look fast.

He is so dam busy now with his new little girl that he cant even stop by his aircraft twins hangar to say hello. She was born Feb 14th if I remember correctly. I am never good with weight and height and all but I know she is healthy. I will rattle his cage to share some info. D

That's a GREAT PHOTO Richard!
I understand the resemblance to your hair-style but....
Are those button-eyes, and no mouth, fingers, or toes a family-trait?
That's a fairly-realistic-looking toy-doll for him to play with, too!

You must be very proud Miles.
I, and guessing Richard, can only hope our munchkins reach that degree.

Went up here to play Friday morning - couple feet of fresh snow on top, definitely don't want to leave the skis behind. Step out of your tracks, and it's in to your waist, easy! Not bad for an O-300 on a skinned-out 170B. I like the second pic better, with the view down glacier to the valleys, but it leaves out some of the important part of the plane.

Left the motor running while I tramped about for a bit, not the best place to let Murphy slink up and ruin a good day. Prince William Sound had some wet, nasty clouds pushing up and over, so it wasn't a place to be for very long.
