N2507C -- Tuscon, AZ to Longview, TX...father-in-law is letting us have his 1954 170B for awhile
Warren and Dawnelle
We flew our CFI Alan to Tuscon with us (we aren't pilots yet!)
Dawnelle filling up in Big Spring, TX
Made it home!
Rick
Edit: oh, I just noticed the massive beetle I put on Dawnelle's pullover...she hadn't noticed it when the pic was taken

My 170B with an Extra 330 that belongs to a friend. He is the US Advanced Aerobatic Champ. I gave him a flight review in the 170. His airplane has only one seat.

Big upgrade occurred on my 1952 170B. Hoping to pick it up this Friday and start enjoying all the fun stuff.
Garmin GI 275 x2, Garmin GNX 375, Garmin GTR 225, PS Engineering PAR200B, Garmin GSB 15 x2, uAvionix AV-20S, new altimeter and Guardian Avionics Aero 551 panel mount CO detector. I will need to get a photo of the light upgrades: AeroLED landing and taxi light, red beacon, tail light and wingtip position/strobe lights.

Dave,
I will pick it up this Friday. Let me know if you have questions about choices, how they work together, etc. Happy to share the story.
My best, Bill

I have the GNX 375 installed for the last year or so. Love it. I used the simulator downloaded on my iPad to learn how to use most of it. Not a perfect simulation, but close.
Nice panel

Going thru an old photo album (remember those) I found this pic from the day I met Jim Wildharbor June 3, 1984 @ Bourland Field in Texas. The Texas group had gone to the Pate Museum of Transportation which closed in 2009.
