Shortly before this Lodestar was donated to the Houston Air Terminal museum, I administered one of the very last checkrides taken in it to my friend Beryl Minard who flew it for 30 years. (It happened to be one of the very few which, by virtue of a note in it's type certificate, denoting it's constructor's number, was certified single-pilot.)
