Cessna 170 Ornament
As we were pulling out the ornaments for the Christmas tree and I unpacked my beautiful Cessna 120 ornament (complete with the same paint scheme as my bird) I realized I needed a 170 ornament. Does anyone know of someone who makes these? A quick search of the old internet turned up nothing.

Pretty cool Arash, I'm gonna have to keep looking. Here is the 120 ornament....kind of matches the paint scheme on your 170b.

Hallmark made a C-195 ornament several years ago, they were very well done. Maybe if someone asked Hallmark?????

Re: Cessna 170 Ornament
I've got every Hallmark airplane ornament they've made so far. In fact, at this point, I could probably have a tree that is comprised entirely of airplane ornaments. I think this year's airplane is a Culver Cadet, so a 170 certainly wouldn't be the most obscure choice they could make.
I doubt that a single person would do, but lobbying as a group would be much more effective. Also, Textron has some pretty stiff licensing fees that may apply to these airplanes, so there would be a good reason not to do it.
A thought would be to investigate some of these companies that make Mahogany desk models. I would think they could scale their models down and machine out ornaments pretty easily.

Where did your 120 ornament, Mike? It's really cute and well-done.
Re: Cessna 170 Ornament
Not sure where it came from. My wife got it for me the year we bought the 120. (Didn't have the nerve to tell her it was actually a 140A ) Hopefully this year she will find a polished/green 170 somewhere...hint hint if you read this Kim At least there will be one fast airplane on the tree!!
Re: Cessna 170 Ornament
Yes...it'll be FAST-ened to the tree! (which will also be stationary!)

Hallmark has a collection called "Sky's the Limmit". My wife stared buying them for me the year we started dating witch by coincidence was the first year of the collection. Sadly they haven't seen fit to offer a 170. But as someone pointed out they did offer a 195.

I can make some stainless steel flat ones if anyone would like
