Avcon STC Paperwork

Post by flyboy122 »

Hi All,

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the paperwork that usually accompanies the Avcon 180hp STC? I recently bought my plane from an estate, and it didn't have a FMS, parts list, install instructions, etc.... It is my understanding that Avcon is more or less defunct so I'm assuming I can't get it from them?

Thanks,
DEM

I think I have a nearly, but not totally complete set of drawings for the Avcon conversion but I am not exactly sure where I have them filed. If you don't get a better response, drop me an email and I will start looking in my files to see what I can come up with.

If you join the Association you can find copies of all the Avcon paperwork in the members only section. That's worth $45, isn't it?

As Dave said, thanks to many members pooling their documents, the Association has what is probably the most complete library of AVCOM paperwork. There may be a hole or two but that is because no one so far has come up with it or we are chasing a drawing that doesn't exist. All this and more is available free for the download to TIC170A members.

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the info. Joining the association was on the list, and I took care of it this morning. Thanks!
