Intake Clamps

Any body have a any luck with a local source for the 12 hose clamps on the intake (part#36151N). While we're discussing them the overhaul manual says they are 1 3/4 in. while the ones removed from my engine are marked 2 1/4 in. an seem to work fine. I know I should follow the book and get 1 3/4 in but does anybody know for sure. Also is there an approval to use the more common screw type clamps rather than the type shown in the book with the screws that stand on end.
