I have a KX-155 radio and I'm pretty sure it doesn't have a glideslope reciever in it. I've been told that some do, and some don't. I would like to add a glideslope to my airplane and was wondering if anyone else was in this situation. Some have told me to send the radio to a shop and have them add it to the radio, this seems like it might be the most cost effective. My display head will display both course & glideslope so I don't have to buy another one of those. Any help, ideas or considerations for this project?
Thanks,
KX-155 Glideslope

Mike, if you go to this website they have the part numbers for the KX-155. You should be able to see what your unit does or doesn't have if you know your part number. http://www.seaerospace.com/king/kx155.htm
I think you could probably just swap your unit out easily enough. Besides adding the few extra wires it takes to run the G/S information on the indicator you shoud be good to go.
