A first for me.... Got to fly Becky and a sharp young lady who interned at my company to her home gun club tonight.

A couple of enjoyable ladies, some trapshooting (that's the club behind the plane), a steak on the grill at the club and a super smooth night flight home. Life is good!

Here's some pics of our new addition. Grew up in a cessna family so this was an easy choice. Needed a tailwheel. Nosewheels are for paychecks.

I'd have to look to see which harness it is. Previous owner is the one that installed them. Don't know why you saw that one pic inverted. I like right side up and just cruisin.

This one is for my Southern friends......

Yes, that is ice.
Yes, there are cars parked on the ice.
Those little circles are holes drilled with an ice auger.
It's what Minnesotans do as an excuse to spend time outdoors with friends (often drinking their beverages of choice).
It's an ice fishing contest!

Fishdoc, that is one BEAST of a 170B. I think that your bird looks great. I love that 3 bladed prop. One day I might swap my o 300 out for move power and better cruise performance. My B already has the 175 wings so l already have half the hardware to take advantage of more power. Anyway great plane.
