Lovely video featuring member Jeff and his 170
A lovely video just showed up this morning on YouTube featuring member Jeff Tramontano and his gorgeous 170.
Hope this is ok to share, Jeff. You are a wonderful spokesman.

Very nice video. My only comment is that he seemed to be flying in cruise with his feet flat on the floor. Probably a habit developed in the Embraer...

I think it a fun video. I have no critiques. Good thing it was a Red airplane. Makes a nice slow flight for the video.

Yes, but... In my Embraer days I was amazed at the people who landed those things in a crab. I was like "Come On, Man!" we're professional pilots right? Flying teaches you so many things about life, and tail wheel flying teaches you so many things about flying.johneeb wrote:Can you slip an Embraer?

I'm not particularly widely experienced in jets but the swept-wing jet I've flown slips are prohibited. (737, HS125, all citations even the little straight wings)IA DPE wrote:Yes, but... (crosswind landings excepted but even then cautions are offered) It overstresses their fuselages in most cases and severe slips adverse-roll affects the opposite wing.
