New 170 Owners

Post by wyoflyboy »

Hello all!

My wife and I recently became the caretaker of N3431D a 1955 B model. We brought it to Washington state from Florida. We had a C140 before this and we are really enjoying all the room and the little bit of extra power! Looking forward to having many years of fun with her! This seems to be a great group and I hope that I am able to attend the convention one of these years!

Welcome to the 170 Association and forums Max! I hope my sister in law never sees your airplane, as she’s a die-hard University of Michigan fan and has never forgiven me for painting my 170 green and yellow instead of blue and yellow!

Thanks all!

We are based at the Olympia Regional Airport. We have been in WA for about 5 years and have had the 140 for much of that time. We are looking forward to doing much more flying with the 170! Such a great airplane!

Nice looking airplane!

I'm in Spokane (although my 170 is hangered in Coeur d' Alene). I bought my 170 in Port Angeles in August! So far love it!

Congrats on your purchase!
