Bridgeport municipal KXBP fuel prices have been very competitive for years but I was pleasantly surprised today to find the price had dropped from $3.75 to $3.50. I found only two airports in the whole country cheaper! The guy in the Baron had just flown 30 miles out of his way to save $1.18 a gallon!

Your fuel prices reduce me to a nervous wreck looking for my tissue box . [contains paper handkerchiefs]. Price average fuel for AV Gas is around $2.30 a litre in Australia .
So there are 3.785 litres per a US gallon. 1 US dollar equals 1.59 dollars Australian. So my fuel cost per US gallon is $6.01 in Australian dollars . Whisky is cheaper .

Whiskey is cheaper. And you can get high also.

My local fuel prices within 30 miles is $3.80 (KBMQ - BURNET) AND $3.75 (KAQO -LLANO) AND $3.72 (KRYW - LAGO VISTA)
AND $3.75 (KGTU - GEORGETOWN) ... all here within 30 mins of me just west of Austin in Central Texas.

However I do not consider flying out just to get fuel as that carries too much addt’l cost in terms of wear/tear and return fuel. I only use them when enroute to go somewhere, and buy fuel in jerry-cans from 88R literally just around the corner (4 mile) from me and store about 40 gals here at home.
If I hop over to Burnet for $3.80/gal 12 miles away, it’ll cost me 2 gals to get there, 2 gals to get back home, plus the wear and tear of two starts/stops/landings and 30 mins on the engine/airframe. This equals about $15 in fuel alone so that makes the purchase of 30 gals adding 50-cents/gal and approx $50 in wear/tear so to buy 30 gals costs almost $6/gallon! .... (and I end up back at the house not full of fuel unless I add some from my jerry cans anyway.)
Hardly worth a trip just for fuel. (But a trip 38 miles over to $3.75 (K74 -Taylor) to spend an additional $40 for Mueller Bar-B-Que changes all the math!).

Sorry David! We don’t have joeys on the Barbie here in Texas!

Fuel prices within 50 nm of my airport (MBT) vary a bunch. Excluding Nashville (who wants to land there anyway) prices are from $3.71 to $4.50 /gal. Even with our tenant discount of $.35/gal our price is $4.29. Obviously I buy elsewhere most of the time. Prices seem to change with almost every load our airport gets.

Yes, that’s the common denominator... FBOs often must see what their own delivery charges are before they add their usual markup.

At my home airport (KCOE) self serve 100LL is $5.35/gal. I can fly to Sandpoint (30-isn NM) where it was $3.99/gal. Fuel pricing is all over the place around here!

My old Civil Air Patrol squadron had a 2000 gallon 100LL tank and we supposedly paid cost plus 25 cents per gallon maintenance fee. The problem was they changed the price of the whole tank to whatever the last delivery price was for usually 300-500 gallons. With rising prices, and it seldom EVER came down, our price artificially increased. Once I pointed it out that we were not actually paying cost plus 25 cents, a math geek in the squadron calculated a simple (for her) dollar-cost-averaging equation that took the price of the volume already in the tank into account. It was amazing how the price stabilized after that.
