I have seen and heard from many people that a typical upgrade is going with the Cessna 175 wings for the extra fuel. A big deal if you have the 180hp upgrade. I have a couple questions. Fist off is, does anyone have a weight difference between a factory 170B wing vs a 175 wing? I have heard they are heavier from some people and no weight difference from others.
Second is what is the easiest and best way to get them STC’d or field approved.
I realize there are other options for getting more fuel but all include using the factory wing. By going with the 175 wing I can sell my factory wings making the project much more affordable.
