Post by n3833v »

I talked to John Nielsen at Oshkosh and told me a David Thorsness from Eveleth MN makes parts for the 170's. I need his address and phone number for some repairs.
Thanks for the info

The shop is called Aero Specialty Services
5110 125th Ave N.E.
Foley, MN 56329
Owner is Dave Thorsness
Ph:320-968-6504

Has 2000 ft grass strip next to shop. Has jigs for most 100 series Cessna wings and control surfaces and forms his own ribbed material with roller set to same width specs as Cessna original. He does not work fast, but quality and price is great.

He did the work on my showplane in 2000 when the tail spring broke and beat up the tail feathers.
