I just broke a perfectly good one by not understanding how it came off. Ended up making a new one on my lathe. Several for sale on ebay.

According to some instructs I’ve read (I have not personally done this) Not all knobs come off the plunger.... the nut must be loosened and the entire plunger pulled out of the body.

On mine the pin should be pulled, and then the knob spins off. There is a pilot hole in the knob male thread. Ill use a spot of loctite on reassembly.

We successfully reattached one on ‘97C about a year ago with 5-minute epoxy.
