MT propeller for O360-A1A
I don’t see this option on the MT propellers STC page although I do see that at least one member has done it. I am looking for options for the 100hr. Eddy current inspection on my Hartzel.

The advantages of the MT go way beyond getting rid of the AD.
If you don’t see what you need, call and ask.

Thanks so much. Why didn’t I do this 10 years ago? Which one do you have? The three blade looks particularly cool.

I have a two-blade 83” with nickel leading edges. MTV-15-B/210-58 I bought it in 2016 and they’ve since introduced an improved model. Flight Resource didn’t recommend a three-blade for the 170, but you should call them and discuss it.

Generally speaking, a one-bladed propeller is more efficient than a 2 blade which is more efficient than a 3 blade which is…. Etc etc etc.
The problem with a one-bladed propeller is they are a bit difficult to balance.
A two-bladed propeller is more efficient than a 3-blade, it is quieter, and simpler to maintain. It will have a reduced take-off distance, a better climb rate, and a faster cruise speed than it’s 3-bladed equivalent. (And looks more original.) heh-heh.
