I think we can be pretty sure it will be hot in August so let's plan to meet at Cedar Mills Marina & Resort, near Gordenville, TX, as it is about as far north as any airport in the State that works good for our group.
Cedar mills http://www.cedarmills.com/airstrip/ has a very nice grass runway https://www.airnav.com/airport/3T0 which they always keep well maintained and of course there is a good restaurant at the resort https://pelicans-landing.com/ . We must have food!!
The staff there will provide transportation for us between the airplane parking area and the restaurant.
It has always been a fun place to fly into, so as usual, let's please try to arrive prior to 11:00 am. We look forward to seeing you the 6th of August.

Flying a Cessna 170, visiting with great friends and eating good food. Can it get any better than that?
Members of TIC170A did that very thing the 6th of August, 2022. We flew into Cedar Mills Marina Resort on Lake Texoma, 3T0, and had some great visiting, along with some very good food at Pelicans' Landing Restaurant.
Members fortunate enough to be there were Chris Cutler, Karl & Nancy Towle, Ray Walker, Chuck Miller, Jim & Vicky Yates, Naomi Goodlett and Ken Peck.
Nine friends and six nice 170s.
