Texas Fly-in April 8th Giddings KGYB
Members Jamie and Pat Crandall have invited members and guests to fly into Giddings https://www.airnav.com/airport/KGYB on Saturday, the 8th of April, for our April fly-in to enjoy comradeship and lunch.
They will meet us at the airport with a few nice classic cars to transport us to JWs Steakhouse https://www.jw-steakhouse.com/ in Carmine. After a nice lunch, we'll go back to the airport to visit, airplane talk and whatever.
Please try to arrive at KGYB before 11:00 am, as Jamie and Pat have made reservations for our group at JWs, so it is important we leave the airport promptly at 11:00
We look forward to seeing y'all there. Please mark your calendars. It will be a fun ride and great lunch. Here's hoping for blue skies and little or no wind.
If you have questions, please contact Ken Peck at c170ken@gmail.com or (512) 468-7790.

We would like to thank members Jamie & Pat Crandall for making the arrangements for our April 8th fly-in here in Texas. Also for their offer to bring their nice classic cars to carry us to the restaurant, but unfortunately the weather did not allow the day to go as planned. It was IFR with low ceilings and drizzle, so one of the few that maintains his IFR proficiency, our President, Karl shot the approach and made a good landing.
However, thanks to the loyalty of other members there were several drive-in participants, so we still ended up with a fun group for a great visit and meal.
Those attending, listed left to right, were: Leslie Partridge, Wendell & Sheila Wyborny, Ken Peck, Mark & Shelly McMillan, Pete Coffey, Karl Towle, Pat Crandall, Bo Jensen and Jamie Crandall.
