Tail Strobe

Looking for information on STC SA 2472 WE, Tail Stobe Installation. Mine quit and I can't find my paperwork I thought I had an installation instructions with a parts list.

Tim,
Double check that STC number. SA2172WE is for the “installation of Irvin Industries Net Assembly 120012-501 used in conjunction with Cargo Pallet” on a B-707. Is your tail strobe Whelen, Grimes, or Aeroflash?

The R.J. Schroers STC is referenced on this 337 form. It looks like the sale of N2303D — the aircraft listed on that 337 form — is pending with Nelson Aircraft Sales. They may be able to provide the paperwork you’re looking for. Ryan Smith may also be able to help as he mentions that he has this STC here. Ryan says it’s a self-contained Whelen unit. If that’s the case, figures 37-41 of Whelen’s catalog may be able to help with part numbers.
