The 2025 Texas Christmas party will be in Denton (DTO), Texas this year. It will be 5th - 7th December, 2025 with Nancy and Karl Towle as your hosts. All TIC170A members and friends are welcome, regardless of where you live.

Please RSVP to Nancy with your name and the number attending in your party via email cloud9dancer1@hotmail.com or phone: 940-390-6601(cell) by 11/5/2025. We need a head count for dinners and activities. . Please also indicate if you will be flying into DTO so we can coordinate ground transportation for those who need it.

We've arranged a reduced rate on a block of rooms at the Homewood Suites by Hilton in Denton; 2907 Shoreline Dr., Denton, TX. 76210, 940-382-0420.

They have two types of rooms: a King bed Suite at $122, and a King bed Studio at $111.75, both prices less taxes and fees that will be inevitably added. Breakfasts are included. Our tentative agenda features:
Friday evening : After dinner, a drive-through Christmas lights display
Saturday, we will have recommendations of local attractions to visit, including aviation museums in the Ft Worth area.

Saturday evening after dinner, we will gather for our TIC170A Christmas party featuring our customary Christmas gift exchange
• Bring a wrapped gift of approximately $25 value, guys bring a guy gift, ladies bring lady’s gift
• Please bring some Christmas goodies to share during the gift exchange.
Sunday after breakfast, you're welcome to visit, and/or depart at your leisure.

Additional note for anyone flying to our Christmas Party:

Denton airport has gotten a lot less "little airplane friendly" recently. They are now charging a "facility fee" just to land and shut down on the ramp. Further, their over-night tie-down fee has increased to just north of $22 per night.

So, if anyone wishes to avoid these charges, you're welcome to tie down on my hangar apron. Our airstrip is T38, about 10 miles north of Denton. Left patterns, both thresholds displaced 200 ft, CTAF 122.850, pilot controlled lights; 5 clicks on 122.825. We'll arrange ground transportation to/from the hotel in Denton.
