For May, let's converge on Spicewood (88R) on May 2, 2026, at 1100 for lunch at Opie's Barbecue (Links below). Leslie Partridge has volunteered to arrange transportation. Aircraft parking in the NW ramp tie-down area. Let's pray for better weather and have another sizeable turn-out for this one.

On 2 May, 9 of us (including 3 C170s) gathered at Les Partridge's hangar on Spicewood airport, and shuttled to Opie's Barbecue for a delicious and relaxing lunch. After lunch, we rendezvoused back at Les' hangar (see picture below) and admired/listened to an antique radio that Wendell had restored for George Horn (not in attendence?). For the first time in months, the weather cooperated wonderfully. For those of us who attended, we had a great time; if you missed this one, please make plans to join us in June!
