Lock-O-Seals

Post by lowNslow »

Does anyone know of source for "Lock-O-Seals" used in the brake cylinders. These are part number 200AC-6 on page 100 of the parts manual(index no. 16). I have tried most of the online Cessna sources with no luck.

The Gerdes cylinder line was purchased by Cleveland (Parker). They have a technical hot-line 800/272-5464.

George, thanks for the contact info. I called them this morning but they were not very helpful - he said they bought SOME of Gerdes product line and that he thought Cessna probably made there own master cylinders and copied the Gerdes design - it didn't sound like he knew what he is talking about. So, was able to get hold of someone at Cessna who says the new part number is 800-001-6 if you want to pencil that in your parts catalog.

As a side note, the Cleveland M10-35 cylinders sold by Aircraft Spruce ($180) look like they are the same ones used in the 170, but I have not confirmed this.
