I might have one of Tehachapi when soaring with Gary.

I'll email the Aviation Newspaper photographer and see if he'll send us that picture. He used it for an article that he wrote on us. Goodness this made me remember that I have a dozen undeveloped shots in my camera. Got to get to 24 count.

I'm getting close to done selecting photos. Anybody have any winter shots? Ski-flying? I have 3 or 4 winter shots, but they are all the same plane. I'll use them all if I have to, but I'd like a little variety.

Remember - hi-res pics please or print photos that I can scan.

Doug,

I can supply some ski flying photos from here in Alaska. Check out these from the Cessna170.com and tell me what you like and I will forward the images to you. I have more than what is posted but these are most of the better images.

Anybody got any pics of 170s on floats?

Anybody know N401F - possibly known as "CubEater"? He sent me some pics a while back and I'm trying to get in touch with him to see if he has hi-res copies. Can't seem to locate him. Any help would be appreciated.

thanks,
Doug

I have several pics of George Courtny's "55. Some of them are 35MM photos and some are digital. I don''t know if you still need them or not. It probably would be better to E-mail me if you still do.

OK Folks, the calendar project is almost ready to go to the presses. Just one problem, the printing company is based in Riviera Beach, FL which just got pummelled by Wilma. Sooooooooo, as soon as I can get through to them and make sure they are ready to take orders, I'll get this thing rolling. At the moment, they are not answering their phones and, given their location, I think it'll be another week or so before they do (the company I work for has a data center in Boca Raton that is currently running on generator power only).

I'd like to thank everyone who contributed photos over the last year:
George Horn
Bruce Fenstermacher
John Hess
Eric Taylor
Kelly Mahon
Bela Havasreti
Ole Gar
Dave Laseter
Tye Hammerle
Tim Berg
Dan Linn
Dave Clark
Russ Farris
Bruce Christie
Chris Pratz
Russ Ogle

I know there are a couple of other people who contributed, but I never got their names. If you did contribute a photo and your name does not appear above please do not be offended - I tried to get all the names but I know I missed a few.

I received a lot of great photos, but due to size/resolution issues (discussed ad nauseum previously), I was not able to use many of them. This was a bit disappointing as there were some REALLY nice pics that I had to cast aside. Nevertheless, there were still some REALLY great pics that I WAS able to use :D and I think everyone will be pleased with the result. In addition to the pics, the calendar company allows you to specify/label dates that are significant to your organization, so I'll be labelling Sun-n-fun, Oshkosh, Petit Jean, and the TIC170A Convention in addition to the standard holidays.

I'll start a separate thread (once I know they are in process) that will cover pricing, payment info, etc.

Stay tuned...

Yeah? And September 19 is "Talk Like a Pirate Day" ( http://www.talklikeapirate.com/piratehome.html ), but that doesn't mean I'm gonna put it on the calendar. :P :P :P

OK campers, as a point of clarification, you CANNOT order your own personalized holiday calendar. I'm afraid, that you're just gonna have to whip out a pencil and scribble in your own special days by hand like everyone else. :P :P

Sorry to dissappoint ya George.
