I hope this isn't a recurring trend. A T-6 just landed on US-41 on its way to Oshkosh earlier in the week.

Nice to see the news making a big deal out an aviation related story that doesn't include death and dismemberment.

I agree! We really don't need any bad news! I think maybe if we all just took a good look at what we do, these kind of things that occur are really not that nessessary.
The weather was extremely bad! Solid fog right to the ground! Constant drizzle. I couldn't see beyond my boat dock 300 feet. Same conditions that the wonderful lady who flew to Norwood from NJ in a Mooney experianced 1 month ago.
Do your homework! Plan your trip. Don't be a statistic.

We have had all the bad local aviation news we can take!

Last month we had a Navion crash with 2 fatalities and we've had 2 crop dusters crash in the last 2 weeks in our county alone. Another cropduster went down across the river in Iowa about an hour from here.

People are starting to ask me if they can take out a life insurance policy on me.
