Emergency Procedures

Post by planepilot1 »

I need some help. Over the past several months I have seen some ad's for a laminated list of things a non pilot passenger should do in the event of the pilots incapacitation. I can't remember where I saw it. (Senior moment ya know!!!)

Anybody remember what the source for this item is?

Thanks in advance.

Dr. David Smith (Dean of Texas Tech School of Medicine) was my passenger once and rode in the copilots seat of a King Air 200. He kept asking various questions like, "What's this little thing do?"
After answering several such inquiries there was a long pause. After a few minutes he leaned over to me and all his employees in the back put down their magazines and stopped whatever they were doing to listen to my response as he asked, "What do I do to land this thing if you hava a heart attack or something?"
"Dr. Smith", I said, ..."The best way for you to insure your survival and that of all your friends ....is to revive me." (Him being a doctor, I'll be darned if I'm gonna allow him to let me die so he can save his own hide!)
