Here's the other episodes of Sky King. Now which one shows Penny blow drying her hair by cranking up the right engine of the 310??? :D

In 1955 I figured that any girl that could shoot, fish, fly a plane, ride a horse and cook was my kind of girl; and yes, good looking too! I'm still in love with Penny.

Gloria Winters is a winner of the "Sweetheart of the West" award, aka the "Golden Boot". She played in lot's of other B-movies also. She played the daughter in "The Life of Riley" when Jackie Gleason played Riley (before Wm Bendix took over the role.) She's still around I think.

Kirby Grant was invited to be the guest of honor (for his contributions to women in aviation) at the launch of space shuttle Challenger, but on the way to the launch he was ironically killed in an auto accident.

Well, Bruce, after watching this, I can certainly see why the Republicans are just so taken with her:

George,

I used to have the site bookmarked that had all of the "Sky King" eposodes listed but lost it a year or two ago. Do you know what that site is?

A little pricey, but you can get all the Sky King episodes from EAA. I bought them all on video tape, but they're now on DVD. They may be a bit corny, but they make a great diversion after a hard day. Sky King and an adult beverage are a great relaxer. 8)
