FYI: AD 2009-16-03 NOT Applicable

Post by GAHorn »

Information Only:

AD 2009-16-03 which is a newly-issued AD against Superior cylinders is NOT APPLICABLE to any of our engines, as it pertains only to the cylinders installed on TCM IO-520 series engines, and involves cracking and head seperation on cylinders installed in the field with more than 750 hours on them.

If you have further curiosity about this AD you may research it at the FAA website. This topic is locked. http://edocket.access.gpo.gov/2009/E9-18220.htm
