Any one know the Tinkim (sp) bearing number for the main wheel bearings for a '50 with Cleveland 6" wheels. I wrote this down last annual so i could buy and change them this year and the paper has faded.
Thanks

bearings
If you take the bearings out, they have the number stamped on the face of the bearing. The inside and outside bearing are the same. If you don't have Timkens in there now, almost all bearings have the number stamped on them and you dealers can cross reference the correct numbers. According to Univair catalogue the bearing cone is 13889, and the cup is 13836. We just replaced ours and that is what we used. Good luck,
