We can all apreciate Wings. Even Me! It was done better than I expected. Seems to be a very nice family trying to make a go of it.

Well if it's on film they actually did it... right???

They are also operators under license who's livelyhood's are being sensationalized. You can bet they are going to 'hype' the risk, and not actually do anything to risk thier license with the FAA. It is all about making the almighty dollar...

But I still like to watch airplane porn! And I might even pick up a technique or three!!! But this is nothing to what I've seen in actual practice. I wouldn't do it myself, I like my steed too much. However, there are those that have a much higher risk tolerance than mine...

Yeah, and if that's the stuff he pilfered at the Galveston Convention, it's gonna be 3-1/2 years old, and I doubt he's kept it cold!

I don't have a tv either and only watched RATNET (Rural AlaskanTelevision Network) a few times when I happened to be somewhere it was playing. Mainly lived in rural(read bush) Alaska. Not sure how the two shows will portray us but it will most likely be kind of like the Deadliest Catch and Ice truckers. I have not seen either but have heard they are big on keeping an audience...that is what advertisers pay for.

If anyone wants to come up and see the real Alaska without the drama, contact me and we have room available and a hangar or tiedown as well. OH yeah we watch the bonfire, northern lights when they are out, and a few beers disappear as well :) Getting through Canada is a bit of a hassle now, not with the Canadians but with the new program the U.S. has implemented. It would take a book to let you know of the hassle it involved last fall when it was supposedly running smoothly. I have had some folks tell me that they will never land in Canada again and will fly the coast so they do not have to go through that cumbersome and unworkable process.

It is doable in spite of the way it is implemented. If the terrorists have to go through this process then we won't see any of them up here. Hope to see some 170 flyers up here in the future.

The next show to "catch" on might be something like "Ice Road Truckers....and the Men who love them!"

I sure wish you guys would stop showing those dirty pictures of those girls with that German beer. I thought this was a family safe forum.

I agree the German Beer is a bit much. But as long as we don't see anyone actually drinking it, like TV, it's OK.
