Finally did the functional check flight on 96V yesterday - )Overall, it wasn't too bad - just a couple of squawks here and there. One thing we noticed was that the fuel pressure runs fairly high at high power settings (around 4-5 PSI). Red lines per the AFM are min 1 and 6 max. Green on the gauge is 1.5-3 PSI.
I suspect that this is due to the brand new fuel pump that we installed (turned out the existing one was merely a deocration - the internals were so worn out and shot that it wasn't doing anything).
Is there a way to adjust this, or is this a common thing in '48s?

With a new pump, mine runs between 4 - 5 lbs. I accept this as normal.

Fearless...before you go trying to adjust that pump... check the calibration of that 60 year old gauge.
