Anyone know where I can find assist straps for my 170A? Or parts to construct a pair. I've been looking, unable to locate.
Great Dec. weather. Flew 6x...most during Dec. for a few years.

Re: Assist staps
John,
The original assist straps which attach at the top and bottom I don't think we have ever found a source for. There are sources for straps that attach with one point. There is a thread about this subject that I will try to find. It had links to auto restoration places that had the single point straps available.

I spoke to JW Duff today, who said he doesn't have any on hand but is looking for some for another person. He said to call back in a week and he may have located some by then. His number is 303/399-6010. Good luck.
