Ugh. Sorry bill. I keep thinking this thread is talking about models with the same setup as mine.

Bill, I found that the scat tubing between the firewall and the inside duct was broken and the heat was lost outside. When replaced it helped.

I've added SK 70A51-1 to the Mx Library. "The kit is to supply installation instructions and parts for the installation of Hanlon Wilson type exhaust manifolds and mufflers on the Model 170 and 170A."
