The mount to firewall bushings are part number 0550155, not the p/n you wrote. They, and the pads 0550154-2, are stocked by various Cessna dealers. See 170b parts catalog, fig 49, index -4 and -11.

Thanks Dave. I copied that part number from the beginning of this thread. I will search with the correct number. I have an A model and the firewall is bare.

Firewall bushings where not used until serial 19200. Before that only AN 970-6 and an AN960-616 washers used and no bushings.

Thanks to all for the help. I have them on order. My A model is SN 19509, and I removed the old ones when I cleaned the firewall (total restoration).I have the square spacers\washers for the cabin side. Sorry for the mess up on the part number, as I only searched for the one number that I didnt verify via the IPC myself. Hill was the source, and I have always had good luck with them. I 'm in the process of upgrading the heater valve to the 175 type, ( great thread on that ), and changing the batt box to the Atlee type and Odessy battery.
