Looking up the Spruce part number 111-226, now goes to a solenoid that is listed as "NOT FOR CERTIFIED AIRCRAFT". Wonder what has changed of the last few years? Is it possible the Cessna SB had an impact?

Dunno but it seems to have changed in the last year as it wasn't like that when I bought it :(

I did the initial replacement 'cuz my IA wasn't crazy about the solenoid I had...something about it being stamped 'FORD' on the side :?

So, I swapped it out again with the 'approved' one with a PMA stamp on it.

Don't worry about it. It's still the correct part and OK to install on our Aircraft. (Remember Advisory Circular 23-27?)
