You can tell it's spring time here on the forum, always starts with the fuel debate then as the flying season moves on we'll get the oil additives debate and then in the fall the useful C170 modifications debate will ensue.

Well I'll just be happy if I get to modify my airplane by running the engine a little requiring the addition of fuel and an oil change. Niether of my planes have moved since last November due to bad weather normal flying days or having to work on days I'd ordinarily fly.

Sorry to hear that Bruce. I flew 2.1 with 4 landings yesterday

. 2 paved runways and 2 grass runways. : I sure don't miss the north east

I also like NC [FAY area] when down there, but I also haven't flown for a month due to weather or other commitments. But I am NOT giving up.

John, If you get down this way again let me know so we can try to get together. Haven't flown over that way yet but haven't had a reason to go there.
