I'm planning on overhauling my C-145 this summer. I have been looking at new cylinders. Pretty much everyone is out of stock. What is everyones opinion on TCI cylinders versus the Millennium ones? Is one better than the other?

I was well satisfied with the Millennium cylinders when I overhauled my O-300.

I had to replace a cylinder about a year ago. My IA had a lot of good experience with Millennium's (and even had one in stock). I checked the forum here for opinions about Millennium's and TCi's and found that both were well liked. I went with the Superior and have been very happy with it. But it's only been a year. Here's a link to my thread from last year with postings from others about the cylinders: http://www.cessna170.org/forums/viewtop ... r+cylinder

I went with ECi Cerminil cylinders when I overhauled my engine in 2006. No complaints whatsoever. Mid 70's over 80 on compression right out of the box, even before running. About 350 hours now, and never lower than mid 70's even after as much as 13 months of sitting.
