I have had good luck in a metal hangar with those "bug bomb" foggers. I wait until I'm taking the plane out for a few days, set off the fogger, and leave. Spiders seem to be the hardest to kill.

No carpenter bees in the metal hangar, of course, but I have seen good success with the carpenter bee traps that a family member made. Cheap and easy to make with basic woodworking skills and the ones he makes don't use any attractant. The bees go in the holes, follow the light to the jar, and can't find their way back out.

I had trouble with house finches who took a lot of harassment before they decided my hangar wasn't a good place to raise their kids and moved to a better neighborhood.

Hope I can get back in a hangar soon....
