Has anyone tried the glue from a hot glue gun as a sealant? It melts at a much higher temp than candle wax so the sun should not melt it. I doubt it has the corrosive properties of silicone. But it needs research and a test.

I've used it to seal a hole in electrical pvc conduit, caused by a squirrel. No, he didn't chew it. He was hanging onto it, looking at my almost ripe peach trees... so I dispatched him with a .22 .... He wasn't wearing his bulletproof vest and .... well....I don't wanna talk about it ennymore....
