Just to add -since August 9,2004 The STC cover 172's . I read the letter just to be sure the spinners and vacuum pumps drawings (ammendments) were approved and did not even catch that he added the 172  George, just to pick when I wanted to put the D in my plane the local office at that time said I could put the engine in but as long as he was here I'd never put the prop on and fly it! therefore went to engineering in Dallas-- had 4 spinners,2 vacuum pumps, Alt /Generator, push button and key start and 3 props. His comment was he didn't have an inspector that knew enough to cover all this so drop everything but the 2 props and get that approved and ammendments would be easy to add or change--Yea BS. one year to the day I got he STC issued for the D and 2 props. The spinners and vacuums pumps as well as the other engines (which he reccomended adding on the original) took 13 years and a lot of pain with 1 FAA  person who lost it 5 times-no joke. any paper work is signed copy of the 172 added and waiting on the address from the lady? at the FAA. Will have to transfer all the paper work from Dallas to Denver office and re issuse the STC Maybe they wont mess this up!! Ron

Ron, while I don't need to do this conversion YET, I sure want to thank you for doing all the leg work in getting this STC and donating it to the Assoc. to boot. It's great to have so many engine options when the need arises.
