I just did a serach on FAA.gov "N" numbers for N1201V and it is now showing that N number as a Mooney. I was hoping that if it were in Washington State I might figure a way to go see it.
Jim.

You used the wrong N number. The FAA database serial has serial number 18004 with the following information.
N2501V serial 18004, PITTENGER MARK E, KENT, WA.
Mark is not a current member of the association.
The earliest member owned aircraft is serial 18005 owned by an Illinois member. The next member owned 170 is 18014 which we're pretty sure is the 13th serial from the first of the aircraft sold to the public.
I have all this info pretty close to my fingertips as I just completed the associations directory which should be going to press any day now.

I don't know how? I copied and pasted the "N" Number you wrote in the previous entry. However this time when I did the same thing it came up with the 170?

Miles, Thank you for getting the same finger count as I did concerning #18014 being the twelth one for sale
I know this is not the trade mart section but since I noticed this aircraft mentioned here I thought I would mention that this 1948 ragwing is for sale. Origional and complete, needs fabric, I was told there is no corrosion. (I'm no A&P)
I will post it in the trade mart section soon or anyone can PM me if you cant wait till then

Howdy,
New member, new owner, 1st post. I thought I'd bump this one up, as I am happy to report S/N 18024 (N2520V) is alive and well in Lewistown, MT.
