Thanks Bruce,
As mentioned above, I will get a calibrated gauge on the engine, and make some
adjustments as required after.
I was not certian if I was chaseing my shadow at first , being concerned about high oil pressure.

Sorry if I used fuzzy language... I was not saying washers would not affect relief pressures. I was trying to point out that it will not correct other causes of low pressure. IN other words, do not think of this device as an oil pressure regulator. Think of it as a "safety valve" against excessive pressure when your oil is cold. That's all it's intended for.
