Thanks Bill, yeah, I have a copy of the STC but I was hoping to get some other data, although I believe that I read somehwere that they reall didn't do extensive performance testing so there is probable no published data from them. I guess you just get what you get in the way of performance. I three pointed it the other night and was still flying at 43 mph with full flaps, and the plane felt good.cfzxo wrote:learaviator...I forgot to mention that the Supplemental Type Certificate # SA421CE is for both Cessna 170A and 170B
I don't have much more than you have other than an Export Certificate of Airworthiness for 0-360-A1A that mentions the STC # SA421CE

learaviator... I have data which I have compiled for my 170-B from over the years of flying it.speeds at different load weights etc. you are correct about the preformance data. all that I have ever read is that it meets or exceeds cessna's information.I have Bush leading edge stol, flap gap, and aileron seals as well as javelin aux. fuel, which gives you a pretty good safety margin when you default to Cessna's 170-B owner's manual. I have had to use the extra preformance a time or two, and it was nice to know that it was available.
