I have a friend who knows 170's, and he suggested I look in there. I peaked in there with a borescope, and knew they had to come off.c170b53 wrote:Oh now I'm understanding the pictures. Shoot Bruce, I'd like to see those helicopter picture's myself. Probably a bunch others would probably like to see them too. We like to see anything that flies or has flown.

Here you go. We have since sold the Huey, and yes the Brownings on the side were real. The Cobra in black is at Moab, Utah on the Goldmember shoot. Well you let me down a bit with the Lear picture though I figured by your handle you also flew one of those. I suppose I would to ..if I had to in order to fly the helicopters.
Man oh man I sometimes wonder what I might be willing pay to get another minute or two of Huey stick time to add to my 1270 hours already logged. The 222UT I got to fly was pretty close but just not the same.
Shouldn't the Huey have M-60s on the sides. That is what we had. I'll never forget the first time we went to the range and the gunner fired the M60 forward with rounds passing just a foot or so outside my door. Nothing like being about 4 feet down range of the mussel.

Normally they should have M-60's but the Brownings were so cheap, plus they were semi auto so it was even easier. It was awesome flying through the desert with one firing out each side. Of course no one was shooting back
