Well, this made me actually go look to refresh my memory. You are correct, it actually IS clocked ...a little... about 5:30 or so. (That's why I had to relocate my fuel line a bit.) The adaptor itself is about 1/2" from the engine mount and clears it just fine with no indications of contact ever.)

The questions are what we all have and enjoy here. It's what Forums are For!

George, this is what my installation looks like.

I haven't moved the oil temp probe to the back of the oil filter adapter yet.
