The IPC is famous for incorrect / inaccurate info.
When you write you rec’d the cables unlabled / unidentified in a box…. I am supposing those must be used cables and not new replacements.. in which case their identification becomes incumbent upon the installer to correctly identify them (and determine their airworthiness.)* Thanks for doing the research on this.
* Some control cables have been found to have difficult-to-detect corrosion within the cable ends / turnbuckle swagings…due to dissimilar materials. This can be difficult to detect and I mention it as a precaution, as SLs and AD’s have been issued over the years by various agencies.
