Bill, I like the looks of that heater much better than my old milkhouse heater and dryer ducting. Where did you buy it? I've not seen one quite like that. Looks like it would shoot air nicely into the engine compartment.

yes, works fine for me. A good engine cover is paramount. I leave it on continuously when I'm actively flying. Usually keeps the whole engine compartment over 40ºF.

Kyle,

The heater is a 1500 watt Stanley. I bought it at Menards for $39. I also saw it at Lowes for $43 or $45 or something.

Look at the heater and you will see it is upside down on the stool. Directs the air right into the cowl. :D

I am not sure about the gasgolator being so close and I try to keep the heater over to one side. Maybe I will put one piece of duct on it to get beyond that little glass cup of gas.
